Despite the closing of her historic Harry Potter franchise, novelist and screenwriter, J.K Rowling, brings her 2001 penned spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, to the big screen in 2016. Academy Award Winner Eddie Redmayne stars as Newt Scamander, an author who ventures to New York's secret world of witches and wizards decades before Harry Potter reads about his stories. This prequel boasts some star power with Redmayne and Colin Farrell attached. Fantastic Beasts is primed for some hefty box office totals this November and you can check out it's first theatrical trailer below.
At first glance the upcoming film, Money Monster, delivers a melodramatic vibe in the vein of Nick Cassavetes' 2002 healthcare flick, John Q. Either way, Jodie Foster directs this emotional examination of popular financial television show whose host (George Clooney) is held at gunpoint during a live broadcast by a novice investor (Jack O'Connell) who lost everything in the global market, Money Monster provides a damning look at the financial sector through a tense and dramatic lens.
