After the global success of J.J. Abrams' re-introduction to the Star Wars franchise this past winter, it's time to prepare for an onslaught on spin-offs starting with this December's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Gareth Edwards takes the reins in this latest offering which centers on a Rebellion fighter (Felicity Jones) who embarks on a mission to steal plans for the Death Star. Rogue One's debut trailer is certainly intriguing, but we'll have to wait and see if Edward's tale can match the solid effort delivered by J.J. Abrams just last year.
After settling for a brief sneak peak into Steven Spielberg's imaginative childhood classic, The BFG, we've finally been handed a more extensive look into the highly anticipated film, When a little girl named Sophie (voice of Rebecca Hall) encounters an enormous giant (voice of Academy Award Winner, Mark Rylance), she's surprised to discover that his kindhearted nature has landed him an outcast among all the other giants. Spielberg's film looks and sounds phenomenal, so hopefully it will be one work enjoying when it arrives in theaters on July 1st. Check out the brand new trailer for The BFG below.
